Privacy Policy

Your audio files

AudioKit processes audio entirely within your web browser. Your files are never transmitted to us or to any third party, never written to a server, and never retained after you close the page. There is no upload endpoint in this application. You can verify this by loading a tool, disconnecting from the internet, and continuing to use it.

What we collect

We run no analytics, no tracking pixels, and no advertising scripts. We do not collect usage statistics, and there is no cookie or identifier that follows you between visits or across other sites. The only record of your visit is whatever your browser and your network keep on their own.

The audio engine itself is downloaded from a public content delivery network the first time you process a file. That request discloses your IP address to the CDN in the ordinary way any web request does, but it contains no information about your file. The page itself is served by our hosting provider, which likewise sees your IP address as any web host does.

Cookies and local storage

AudioKit sets no cookies. The only thing stored in your browser is a single local storage entry remembering whether you chose the light or dark theme. It holds the word “light”, “dark” or “system” and nothing else, it never leaves your device, and no tool depends on it. Blocking storage entirely is fine — the site falls back to your system preference.

Donations

Donations are optional and are never required to use any tool. We offer two routes, and neither sends us anything unless you actively choose to pay.

UPI. The UPI ID and QR code are shown on the page as plain text and an image. Nothing is transmitted anywhere by viewing them — the QR is an image generated when this site was built, not a tracker. Paying happens inside your own UPI app, between your bank and ours. We never see or store your bank details, and this site is not involved in the transaction at all.

Card payments. Where a card link is shown, it is a plain hyperlink to a third-party donation service. Nothing is sent to that service unless you click it, and if you do, you leave this site and that service's own privacy policy and cookies apply from that point on. We never receive your payment details.

Children

AudioKit is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a way that affects your privacy, we will update the date at the top of this page and describe the change here.
